Circumstances of Discovery: A hiker discovered the partial skeletal remains of a child 300 yards up a steep and heavily wooded gully west of Kings Mountain Road about 1/4 mile south of the Huddart Park entrance.

The discovery was made between October 13-19, 1975, but the remains were not recovered until October 20th. It is believed that the remains were dumped at the site. He may have been part of a migrant family working the circuit of seasonal harvests.

In October, 1975 the victim was found in Huddart Park in San Mateo County, CA. The victim is a Caucasian male estimated to be between 9-12 years old. It is believed he had been deceased between 1-3 years at the time he was found, placing his death possible between the years of 1972-1974. The victim stood about 4’07" - 5’00" tall. Brown hiking boots (image to the left) were found on the victim’s feet. A dark blue sweater/jacket with snaps were found near the body and a wooden cross (image to the right) was also found in the area. The victim’s teeth revealed significant decay suggesting the child had poor or no dental care prior to his death. The San Mateo County Coroner’s case number is #75-936.

Clothing: Dark blue sweater or jacket with snaps and a red/green/black/gray vertical striped liner, brown boots with three hooks and four eyelets with white oblique angled striping on soles and tranverse striping on the heels (size 7 - 7.5). The boots were missing laces.

Jewelry: Wooden rosary beads with a cross pendant with a white metal clasp and "Italy" inscribed on cross. Body/corpus and some wood beads are missing and some wood beads missing.
