On August 25, 2010, at 10:00 A.M., DE-OCME was contacted by Sgt. John McCarty of DNREC in reference to a possible human bone that was hooked and pulled to shore by a fisherman at 9:05 AM. Location was south side of the Indian River Inlet, approximately three hundred yards west of the Indian River Bridge and thirty yards from the shore.

Area was search by Delaware State Police Divers on 082710; no further remains were found.

Bode DNA Analysis of femur from NamUs UP7716 was cross referenced to four DNA compared (but negative matched) NamUs MP cases which originated in the same general geographic proximity; Gregory Ryan Forte NamUs MP #5622, David Whitehair NamUs MP#7872, Joel Thompson Jr. NamUs MP#7642, Myung Ki Kim NamUs MP#6945.
