Circumstances of Discovery

The victim's mandible found on the beach in the vicinity of 3300 South Ocean Beach.

Both gonial angles were removed at the same time and striations on the cut margins suggest the use of a fine tooth saw. The location of the trauma may suggest that the intent was decapitation.

He was initially believed to be female.
