Circumstances of Discovery

The victim was discovered near Shaw's Creek off of Highway 191 in Aiken County, South Carolina. While her body was located in January 1993, it is likely that the victim died sometime between the years of 1990 - 1992. Her remains had been burned in a controlled ground fire.

Her murder may be related to several other unsolved cases of unidentified black women in Aiken County, including 7UFSC and Jackie Council, who remained unidentified until 1999. All three victims were located unclothed and were approximately one-half a mile from each other.

The imprisoned serial murderer Henry Louis Wallace has been questioned in each of their deaths, as he admitted to assaulting and murdering Black women in the South Carolina region in the early 1990's. Wallace admitted to killing eleven North Carolina women and one South Carolina female. He has not been charged in any of the Aiken County cases.

All three victims were found naked, and approximately a half mile from each other. Despite the fact that Henry Louis Wallace was suspected, who assaulted black women in California, no one has been charged with any of the three Aiken County cases.
