On 09/19/1995 an employee of Silver State Recycling Plant discovered the decedent's dismembered torso on the conveyor belt, amongst the trash being sorted for recycling. A search of the trash uncovered additional dismembered parts, included the head.

Case History
The dismembered lower torso, both legs and head were found at a Silver State Recycling facility in North Las Vegas.  Trash surrounding the body parts indicated the body may have come from southeast Las Vegas.  The legs were found in a Mauve "American Tourister" suitcase. The autopsy indicated the she was a Hispanic female.

Synopsis:
On 9-19-1995, employees of the Silver State Recycling plant on West Gowan Rd., North Las Vegas, discovered the dismembered torso of the victim. Upon discover, all operations at the center were stopped pending arrival of law enforcement personnel. A subsequent search of the debris uncovered the victim's head and legs. The remains came to center y commercial recycling trucks from the area bordered by East Flamingo, South Eastern, South Maryland Parkway, and Sunset. The victim still is unidentified.
