Circumstances of Recovery
On 07/16/1980 at 0926 hours, the decedent reportedly robbed a savings and loan bank and then left the scene driving a stolen vehicle. The decedent was located by local police (Sparks Police Department) and a high speed pursuit was initiated. The decedent and law enforcement reached speeds in excess of 100 mph before the decedent lost control of the vehicle, leaving the roadway, overturning multiple times. The decedent was ejected and was transported by ambulance to the local hospital where he was pronounced dead in the Emergency Room. The location of the accident was approximately 10.5 miles east of the Reno/Sparks area.

Circumstances of Discovery
The decedent was a suspect in a robbery of Nevada Savings and Loan in Washoe County, Nevada on July 16, 1980.

He fled the scene in an automobile at a hight speed pursued by Sparks Police.

At about 10.5 miles east of Sparks, on I-80 in rural Washoe County, the vehicle collided with guard rail.

He was transported to hospital where he died.
