The remains of Jane Doe were discovered May 2nd, 1996 in an undeveloped part of southwestern Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jane was discovered in a vacant field west of I-25 near 98th and Tower Road, wrapped in six dark green or black garbage bags. The outer bag was tied with green electrical wire with a copper-colored core and tied around the legs with rope. She is thought to have been between the ages of 14 and 25 when she was murdered. Investigators found evidence of blunt force trauma to Jane that included broken facial bones and a broken tibia, skull, and fibula. Jane had likely been dead for 2-10 weeks before being discovered and her body was found at an advanced state of decomposition."

A jogger found the victim's body in vacant field near 98th and Tower Road, in an undeveloped area that is west of I-25 and approximately 1 mile south of I-40.

Her body had been wrapped in six dark green or black plastic garbage bags. The top of the outer bag is tied with a green electrical wire with copper-colored core. The bottom of the bag is tied about the legs with a white 1/4" diameter rope. Multiple fractures of the left skull and left lower leg were present.
