#UNIDENTIFIED MAN * LOCATED DECEASED OCTOBER 27, 1988 * ESTIMATED 20 -30 YEARS OLD * CINCINNATI, OHIO

On October 27, 1988, a young man was found dead at the bottom of a staircase on Broadway in Cincinnati, Ohio. Maybe he tripped and fell, or maybe he was pushed. No one knows for sure, but he had died of head trauma only a couple hours before his body was discovered.

The young man had no identification on him, and to this day he remains unidentified. He was found with a recognizable face. He was Caucasian, 5 feet 8 inches tall with a slender build of 137 pounds. He had blue eyes and wavy dark brown hair that was about 4 inches long.

He did not appear homeless. He was clean-cut looking, with a short and trim mustache about 1/2 long. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, Rustler brand blue jeans, a brown belt with white metal oval belt buckle, gray and white running shoes, and a yellow metal Timex wristwatch.

In 2013, a group of collage students from Mount Saint Joseph tried to find his identity. They dubbed him "Broadway Doe" and worked with Dr. Beth Murray to add information to his NamUs profile and generated media attention to his case. Unfortunately it was not enough attention to solve the mystery of who he was. A PhotoShop composite was created by forensic artist Catyana Skory, based on a morgue photo.

**If you think you knew "Broadway John Doe" during his life, you are urged to contact the Case Manager Elizabeth Murray at 513-244-4948 or Dr. Lakshmi Sammarco with the Hamilton County Coroner's Office at 513-946-8700.
