These skeletal remains were found in a heavily wooded area by two hunters on November 16, 1987.  The remains appeared to have been in the woods for several years.  No clothing was recovered.

Circumstances of Discovery
The victim's remains were found in a heavily wooded area approximately 1 ˝ miles south of the intersection of Highway 191 (Johnston Highway) and Highway 208 (Mt. Calvary Road) near Shaw’s Creek, close to the Edgefield County line. Officials speculate she might have come from a migrant camp in peach country.

Her murder may be related to several other unsolved cases of African-American women in Aiken County, including 46UFSC and Jackie Council (found in 1991 and identified in 1999). All three victims were located unclothed and approximately one-half mile from each other.

Aiken County Jane Doe was a female found murdered in South Carolina in 1987.

Case
The victim's skeletal remains were found in a wooded area about 1.5 miles south to the intersection of Johnston Highway and Mt. Calvary Road near Shaw's Creek, close to the Edgeway County line.

Her killer is presumably responsible for Jackie Council and another unidentified black woman's murder. All victims were found **** and half a mile from each other.

   She had a fracture to the left side of her nose that has sensed healed.
   She had an even older injury to her right knee, that has also healed.
