Elma Doe was discovered on October 24th, 1988 by mushroom hunters on A-1100 Road, Vance Creek, near Elma, Washington. She wore a sapphire and 10k gold earring and a silver ring with a pearl. The ring was sold by avon in 1981. Her death is the result of a homicide, as she was shot in the head. She is estimated to have been murdered sometime between 1982 and 1987. There is a large population of transient cambodian refugees in that area of Washington, so some have speculated that Elma Doe is of Asian descent. She remains unidentified.
